Rock of Ages Storyline

In 1987 on the Sunset Strip, a small town girl meets a big city rocker in LA’s most famous rock club and they….”

and that is about it really! It’s great fun, got lots of old 80’s rock anthems and tackles its story line with its tongue firmly wedged in its cheek – but high drama it is not: and it is all the better for it!

Hotels for Rock Of Ages Theatre Packages

Being at the Garrick Theatre, Rock of Ages is right in the heart of Theatreland but getting there from anywhere on the underground network is fairly easy with Leicester Square tube station being just up the road.

The Travelodge Covent Garden – great prices if you are just looking for somewhere to lay your head or the 3 star St Giles Hotel on the corner of Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road with its excellent leisure facilities are the two budget theatre break options nearby, otherwise the Radisson Blu Edwardian Leicester Square is just across the road, as is the 5 star Hampshire.

  1. Rock of Ages is extending – and it hasn’t even opened yet. Now you can book a seat for Rock of Ages up to 3 months after Hussain Bolt has crossed the finishing line – last perf. now 20 October 2012!

  2. previews going well but they’ve just added a “Contains adult themes. Parental Guidance recommended” warning on the packet – obviously getting a few raised eyebrows!
